Picnic Garden Benefit Concert for The WLP LA
In partnership with The Berklee Institute for Jazz and Gender Justice
An afternoon of soulful, uplifting music in a beautiful outdoor setting — celebrating and supporting the Women’s Leadership Project (WLP) Los Angeles, a Black feminist mentoring and advocacy program empowering young Black girls, girls of color, and gender-expansive youth in South LA.
🎶 All proceeds go to the Women’s Leadership Project LA.

As part of this event, AYĖL was invited to perform her originals, bringing music and presence to a space dedicated to human flourishing and collective transformation. Her performance offered a moment of reflection, connection, and shared humanity amid conversations on education, consciousness, and systemic change.

Upside Down Universe reimagines artistic performance through innovation, collaboration, and environmental awareness. Combining original music, evocative visuals, and immersive technology, the production explored the interconnectedness of humanity and the Earth, urging reflection on our shared responsibility in a time of climate change.
Within this multidisciplinary creation, Elisa Platonoff (AYĖL) presented “Awakening” — a powerful, cinematic piece aligning perfectly with the concert’s themes. The song embodies awareness and connection: an invitation to see the Earth not as something distant, but as part of ourselves. It serves as a subtle yet resonant call to consciousness — a gentle alarm, awakening listeners to both beauty and urgency.
Blending orchestral grandeur with emotional intimacy, Elisa’s performance brought depth and presence to this large-scale production.
